Customs thwart bid to smuggle Iranian oil into Punjab

During the operation several trucks carrying illicit materials were seized
JACOBABAD (Dunya News) – Customs on Thursday seized several trucks carrying illegal Iranian oil to Punjab from Balochistan. The trucks were seized at a customs check post.
Officials seized a truck carrying 40,000 liters of Iranian oil and another truck carrying 25,000 liters of Iranian diesel. The custom authorities also seized 26 tons of tar-coal during the same operation.
The authorities estimated that seized materials were worth more than Rs50 million approximately.
