Four policemen martyred in Balochistan's Kuchlak operation

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Four policemen were martyred during an exchange of fire with alleged terrorists in Killi Landi area of Kuchlak on Tuesday.
Police and the Frontier Constabulary, on a tip-off, conducted an intelligence-based raid against some terrorists in Killi Landi area. A gun battle ensued between the cops and suspects in which initially two police officers were martyred.
During the operation, law enforcement personnel surrounded a house in Kuchlak, from which the terrorists opened fire on the officers, resulting in the tragic loss of four of them.
In response, the personnel retaliated, resulting in the death of one of the terrorists. Police officials recovered weapons and ammunition from the deceased terrorist.
As per the latest report, four officers have been martyred in the operation which is still under way. The Anti-Terrorist Force personnel participated in the operation.
The martyred policemen are Muhammad Javed, Faiz, Ali Akbar and Chingiz. The bodies of the martyrs have been shifted from the Civil Hospital to the Police Lines after post-mortem.
A policeman, Fazlur Rehman, was also injured in the firing. He has been shifted to the Combined Military Hospital after being administered first aid in the Civil Hospital.
