Police arrest injured robber after alleged encounter in Kasur

KASUR (Dunya News) – A robber was arrested in injured condition after an alleged police encounter in Kasur on Monday.
Police said a citizen reported that two robbers had stolen a loader rickshaw and cash from a laborer at Dipalpur Road near Sadar Police Station in Kasur. When the bandits saw the police officials they started firing directly from different sides, as a result of which one robber was injured, who was arrested by the police, while the other managed to escape.
The injured robber has been identified as Adeel. A stolen motorcycle and a rickshaw were also been recovered from him.
The police shifted the arrested suspect to the hospital for medical assistance while further investigation is under way.
