KASUR (Dunya News) - Police on Tuesday arrested two robbers in a raid at Mandi Usmanwala in Kasur.
Police said the arrested suspects had been identified as Saqib and Sajid. The suspects were wanted by police in more than 40 cases of robbery, street crimes and police encounters.
The locals reported to police that four robbers had fled after stealing a motorcycle and cash. Police took immediate action and blocked Garhwal Road. When the suspects saw the police team, they started firing and police retaliated. Two accomplices were injured in an exchange of fire.
Police further said a motorcycle was recovered from the injured robbers, which they had driven away with a few days ago.
