Aerial firing kills a Canadian woman in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A Canada-based Pakistani woman was shot dead when armed men were firing in the air at Perfume Chowk, Gulistan-i-Johar on Saturday.
Reports said the woman, identified as Irfana, was standing at the balcony of a house when a bullet came out of nowhere and hit her as a result of which she suffered injuries. She was shifted to a nearby private hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
She had been on a visit to Pakistan to see her relatives and was scheduled to leave for Canada on Sunday.
Police have launched investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the death.
