SHO, another person injured by robbers in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Robbers shot at and wounded a station house officer [SHO] and injured another person during robbery on S.I.T.E. superhighway in the provincial capital on Wednesday.
The SSP East Karachi told media that Bin Qasim SHO Idrees Alam Bangash was sitting at a property dealer’s office when some robbers entered there, held the people in the office hostage and tried to loot cash and valuables. He said the suspects opened fire when the SHO tried to overpower one of the robbers. The firing left SHO Bangash and citizen Asif Chandio injured. The injured police officer managed to capture one of the runaway suspects. The injured were shifted to the Aga Khan Hospital.
In another incident, constable Naveed Iqbal suffered injuries in a shooting incident in Korangi area.
