FIA closes numerous shops in Quetta
QUETTA (Dunya News) – A team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other law-enforcement agencies have sealed several shops for their alleged involvement in illegal hawala and hundi cases.
Law-enforcement agencies raided the Sharah-i-Iqbal Bukhari Center after which the traders protested against it. The traders shut down all shops in protest and accused the FIA officers of stealing money from their shops. They announced another shutter-down protest in the city on Wednesday.
Police sent for personnel at Sharah-i-Iqbal and also baton-charged the violent protesters to control the situation.
