Four killed, 21 injured in two road accidents

GHOTKI (Dunya News) – Four people were killed and 21 others injured in two road accidents in different parts of the country on Sunday, rescue services and police said.
According to police, as many three passengers were killed and 20 others injured in a collision between a trawler truck and a wagon near Ghotki. The ill-fated passengers were traveling from Sukker to Raharki for attending a wedding ceremony at the time of the incident.
The victim’s identities have not yet known. The injured were admitted to local hospitals of Indus, Ghotki and Rahim Yar Khan.
The condition of three is said to be critical, police said, adding the accident happened after the wagon driver started feeling drowsy and lost control over the steering.
In another accident, two motorcycles collided head-on on Dera Nawab Road in Ahmedpur, leaving one killed and another injured.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Ghulam Hussain.
