ANF seizes large cache of drugs across country
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized a large cache of drugs in several operations across the country.
The ANF recovered 2.4 kg of hash from two suspects in an operation near Ayub Park in Rawalpindi. In a joint operation with the ASF at Multan Airport, the ANF seized 1.926 kg of hash from the bag of a passenger going to Abu Dhabi. The suspect, who was said to be a resident of Khyber, was arrested.
According to ANF spokesperson, another person, a resident of Multan, was arrested at the Karachi International Airport after 7.580kg of ice was recovered from him.
In another incident, 4.7kg of heroin crystals were seized from an absconder near Quetta Saryab Road. The spokesperson added that cases had been registered against the suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
