Dua Mangi abduction case: Court declares Police Officials guilty of criminal negligence

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The investigation of the arrested Court Police Officials on the escape of Zohaib Qureshi, the main accused in Dua Mangi abduction case, from the Police custody has been completed and the arrested officials were declared guilty of criminal negligence.
According to Investigation authority, the arrested officials had also been involved in taking culprits to shopping malls and other locations in exchange for bribery in the past. The main accused Zohaib Qureshi had reached Tariq road from the City Court via online taxi service.
The police official had returned to the court leaving the accused in a shopping center. The official called back the online taxi driver to court at 3.30 pm.
Zohaib Qureshi had fled when the Police Officer reached Dolmen Mall at the fixed time. Police had been conducting raids on different locations in search of the escaped.
The East Zone Investigation Police also conducted a raid at Gulshan-e-Hadeed last night. Despite the raids, the accused could not be arrested.
