An attempt to smuggle heroin on Wednesday by a passenger named Tariq Mehmood was foiled by ASF
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An attempt to smuggle heroin on Wednesday by a passenger named Tariq Mehmood was foiled by the Airport Security Force (ASF) at Lahore airport.
ASF personnel revealed that Tariq Mehmood was trying to smuggle the drugs to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On checking, the security officers recovered 2.198 kilograms of heroin from the passenger’s bag.
The ASF personnel told that the Tariq has been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further inquiry.
