Punjab police has arrested 293 accused on New Year night.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab police has arrested 293 accused on New Year night. The accused had been detained on the suspicion of violating government orders and aerial firing.
Earlier,in a bid to restrict celebratory gunfire and other fireworks on New Year s Eve, the police made strict security arrangements.
We have registered, 106 cases of rioting and aerial firing, 59 cases of one wheeling, 30 cases of fireworks, 37 drugs related cases and 17 cases related to arms and ammunition ordinance the police said.
