Kandhkot: Two brothers shot dead over long-running feud

KANDHKOT (Dunya News) - Two brothers were shot dead by unknown armed men over a long-running feud in Kandhkot.

According to details, both brothers were on their way to home from jail when suddenly unidentified gunmen appeared in a car on the Indus Highway near Flour Mill within the limits of B-section police station and attacked victims’ car with modern weapons, killing Ali Khan and Mohammad yousuf Chachar.

After receiving information, police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital. Both the bodies were handed over to their heirs after postmortem.

Police said that the incident is the result of a long-running feud, in retaliation of the murder of Murad Ali Chachar, president of the All Pakistan Clerks Association Sindh, who was killed in Sukkur a few months ago.

According to the police, the deceased brothers were in the judicial lockup of Kandhkot and were on their way home after being released today. A case will be registered against the accused after initial investigations, said police.
