GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was arrested after a video of him beating up a woman went viral on social media.
According to details, the ASI had responded to an emergency call over a domestic dispute. Upon reaching the scene, he reportedly hit the woman in front of her parents.
A first information report (FIR) was registered against ASI Ali Akbar on charges of misuse of authority in Saddar police station after Dunya News reported the incident.
