Man assaults traffic police officer in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Man has physically assaulted traffic police staff for asking him to move his vehicle in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi.
A citizen became enraged when he was asked to remove his vehicle from the no parking zone in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. In the footage of the incident, it can be seen that the citizen first punched the traffic officer and then kept pushing him on the ground. He also pulled the bulletproof jacket of the city traffic officer.
The traffic police officer had asked the citizen to remove the vehicle from the no parking area. Traffic was disrupted as the vehicle was parked in the restricted area.
The traffic police official said that the influential citizen said that my father is a senior officer in the Sindh Secretariat. Citizens intervened and separated the officer and another citizen.
