KARACHI (Dunya News) – A ward boy at a private hospital in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area attempted to rape a disabled woman, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The affected woman’s husband told that he took his ailing wife to the hospital last night where she was admitted to the ICU. He said the hospital administration asked him to leave by assuring that his wife would be taken care of.
The victim told her husband about the indecent occurrence when he came to visit her next morning. The suspect has been arrested by the police and he has confessed to his crime.
Dunya News has obtained the CCTV footage of the hospital in which the accused can be seen locking the door. Further investigations are ongoing.
