Teenager killed by friends in Gujranwala
The funeral prayer of the slain boy was offered today.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Police on Wednesday arrested two suspects accused of kidnapping their friend for ransom and murdering him afterwards in Gujranwala.
City Police Officer (CPO) Gujranwala Dr Moeen Masood told a press conference that 13-year-old Hanzala was kidnapped a month ago by his neighbours seeking Rs 10 million ransom.
However; they killed him after three hours of abduction. The body of the victime recovered yesterday.
The suspects confessed to their crime during interrogation saying that they killed Hanzala after he made a hue and cry.
We were forced to commit the crime due to financial crisis at home, added the suspects.
