Increasing criminal activities in Multan badly irk locals

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Locals are badly irked as police officers have failed to curb increasing criminal activities in Multan.
The city has witnessed 511 robberies, 27 murders and six kidnappings for ransom in the past four months despite deployment of as many as 4500 policemen in 32 police stations.
RPO police said that the lack of police force has become reason behind escalating crime rate in the metropolis.
On the other hand, traders have staged protest against police for not providing due protection.
