GCUF suspends students protesting for arrest of Abida's killers

Students warned GCUF administration of more protests.

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – In a surprised move, the administration of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) on Wednesday suspended students who were protesting for arrest of culprits involved in Abida rape and murder case.

The fuming students staged protest against suspension and warned university administration that they would expand protests if administration did not take its decision back.



The students accused GCUF administration and police of collaboration to save the influential culprits.

Abida, a student with GCU was abducted before her body was recovered from a deserted place in Jaranwala. Preliminary probe revealed that she was raped and choked to death.
