Karachi: Policemen arrest suspect involved in rape cases
Officer said that it seems that the suspect in a mental patient who used to rape girls on Fridays.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police officers on Tuesday have arrested a suspect involved in rape of minor girls in Karachi’s Malir.
During a press conference, DIG East Zulfiqar told that the suspect was wanted in six cases and that he was committing this heinous crime from past few years. He said that serial rapist Amjad was detained with the help of CCTV footage and DNA tests.
He was a worker at a garment factory, he added.
The officer said it seems that the suspect is a mental patient who used to rape minor girls on Fridays. He said that the relevant data including mobile phone record has been dispatched for forensic test.
