Two dacoits killed, one policeman martyred in Faisalabad encounter
The killed dacoits are yet to be identified, investigation officer said.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – At least two dacoits were killed while one officer embraced martyrdom in Faisalabad encounter today (Saturday).
According to details, the robbers were fleeing the scene after snatching batteries from a mobile phone shop in Mohammadpura area when the policemen reached.
An exchange of firing took place between dacoits and security personnel that killed 50-year-old ASI Shaqfat Ali and two suspects.
ASI Liaquat Ali also sustained severe wounds while one robber was arrested in injured condition who has been shifted to undisclosed place after medical assistance.
The killed dacoits are yet to be identified, investigation officer said.
He assured to continue operation against criminal elements for the safety of the people.
