Man sets estranged wife on fire in Khanewal
Ayesha Rasheed had loved to her parents house around a year ago owing to issues with husband
KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – A man set her estranged wife on fire on Monday after he doused petrol on her following a heated argument, the media learnt today.
Ayesha Rasheed, a resident of Colony Number 3 was married to a Sahiwal local Muhammad Umer some five years ago however she left him to live with her brothers a year ago.
Reportedly, Umer visited her claiming that he wanted to see his two sons but set her ablaze. The victim was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) however, the perpetrator fled the crime scene.
Police have lodged a case and launched probe in the incident.
