Rape suspect killed in police encounter in Karachi
Security forces have continued operation against criminal activities in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police on Sunday night killed one suspect involved in rape and murder of a six-year-old girl during encounter in Karachi.
The officers conducted a search operation in Pirabad area after which an exchange of firing took place between police and suspects that injured check post incharge Imran Gujar and killed suspect Hamza.
Separately, police arrested two suspects in Sher Shah and recovered stolen bike from them whereas they also detained dacoit in injured condition in Rizvia area.
Furthermore, one person sustained severe wounds in Korangi shooting who was shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
The senior police official stated that Karachi operation was launched by government which is giving positive outcomes as dozens of extortionists, target killers and terrorists have been held so far. He said that stern action will be continued until the end of last criminal.
