Owing to the explosion, the gas supply from Mango peer to Sultanabad area was also affected

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Counter-Terrorism Department apprehended four suspects during an operation at Mango peer area of Karachi, reported Dunya News.

The operation was carried out after a gas pipeline was blown up in Mango peer area of Karachi.

A case was filed by Engr. Muhammad Riaz of Sui Suthern Gas under the Anti-Terrorism Act against the unknown terrorists.

The investigation officials confirmed that the blast was carried out with the IED in which 500 gram explosive material was used. 

CTD has initiated investigations as sources revealed that a banned outfit is behind the terrorist act.
