Mardan: Police gun down cyclist on suspicion of being suicide bomber
Awais's relatives said that he used to sale clothes on cycle from past 15 years.
MARDAN (Daily Dunya) – Police personnel killed a laborer over a suspicion of being suicide bomber in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Mardan.
According to police, victim identified as Awais Khan was indicated to stop at checkpost but he didn’t after which the security officers opened firing and killed him.
Deputy Superintendent in Police (DSP) said that police tried to stop Awais by ramming vehicle into him but he ran away and shot dead by them.
However, no weapon and explosives were recovered from the deceased.
Meanwhile, Awais’s relatives said that he was a father of 12 children and used to sale clothes on cycle from past 15 years.
They further demanded to take action into the matter.
