Police arrested two in murder case of three killed in Peoples Colony police station premises
GUJRANWALA: (Dunya News) – Police made some progress in the murder case of three people killed in Peoples Colony police station premises in return of two million rupees. Police arrested the rented murderers on Sunday, reported Dunya News.
According to details, three people, including a woman, had been murdered on December 14 by firing over old enmity. The enmity between the Chattha and Malik groups is quite old and so far 12 people have lost their lives in this rivalry.
Malik group had got GEPCO SDO Javed Chattha’s father Nazir Ahmed, his sister Abida Parveen and brother through rented murderers. The case had been registered in the Peoples Colony police station against twelve including Hafiz Tanvir, Jamshed Malik, Aslam Malik, Haroon and Zakaullah.
CIA DSP Imran Abbas said that the arrested suspects Waqas and Muhammad Ishaq belonged to Hafizabad and they received Rs 2 million for murdering three people while those murdered were also planning to murder the opponents.
The suspects had also tried to get SDO Javed Chattha murdered in January 2016 through rented murderers but GEPCO ExEn Mazhar Nawab had been killed in that incident. So far twelve people have died in this rivalry.
