Gujranwala: Thief caught stealing water tap gets roughed up

GUJRANWALA: (Dunya News) – A thief was on Saturday caught stealing a water tap from Gujranwala’s civil hospital by the public. After being roughed up by the common people on the spot, the thief was handed over to the police, reported Dunya News.
It’s tough to get away with small robberies. Taps were being stolen from the civil hospital for last several days. While the hospital administration was extremely irked by the thefts, the patients were troubled more due to the unavailability of water. However, the security guards caught the thief red handed today.
After roughing him up, public handed the thief over to the police. Upon searching, a passport and the tools to open water taps were found with him. Civil Lines police started the investigations into the matter.
