Father kills daughter, man for 'honour' in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A father in Peshawar killed her daughter and a man for honour on Thursday.
Police has said that the man identified as Khan Afzal opened fire on her daughter and a man in his house.
Both the victims died on the spot.
The patrolling police reached the crime scene after hearing the gunshots and arrested the man with the murder weapon.
Police has also gathered other important evidence from the house.
The dead bodies were shifted to morgue for post-mortem whereas investigation is underway from the arrested man.
Some 500 women are killed each year in Pakistan at the hands of family members over perceived damage to "honor" that can involve eloping, fraternizing with men or any other infraction against conservative values that govern women’s modesty.
