SC acquits two death row convicts over insufficient evidence
Both the men are accused of killing two people during a dacoity bid in Hassan Abdal.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court on Wednesday released two death row convicts over insufficient evidence.
Three-member bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa conducted the hearing on the pleas against the death sentences of Azhar Mehmood and Altaf.
Both the men are accused of killing two people during a dacoity bid in Hassan Abdal.
Trial court and high court have sentenced the men to death.
SC after hearing arguments declared that the evidences contain falsity and doubts and acquitted them of all charges.
