Alleged target killer among six arrested during separate raids in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Atleast five suspects were arrested on Tuesday in Rangers raid in Karachi.

The suspects were taken into custody during operation in various areas.

According to Rangers spokesperson, the targeted raids were made on a tip-off in Shah Lateef town, Gulberg, Maleer Landhi and New Karachi.

He also said that one of the suspects belongs to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) whereas two belong to a banned outfit.

Weapons and heavy amount of shells were also recovered from the suspects.

The other two were arrested during snap checking in New Karachi and Landhi.

Separately, police have arrested an alleged target killer from Korangi Industrial area. Police has said that the target killer Muhammad Salman alias Banna was involved in 20 criminal activities.

Two hand-grenades, one pistol and shells have been recovered from the possession of the target-killer.

Salman has also confessed of injuring numerous people during target killing attempts.
