Teenage girl set on fire in Murree
19-year-old female teacher had reportedly rejected a marriage proposal
MURREE (Dunya News) – 19-year-old female teacher was set on fire in Murree as she rejected a marriage proposal school-owner Master Shaukat s son, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
The teenager was admitted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) as more than half of her body was burnt. According to her father, resident of Dewal Sharif, was alone at home when 5 men including Master Shaukat entered the house and started beating the girl. They set her on fire and threw her in the trench as 85% of her body was burnt.
Girl’s father has lodged a report against five including Shaukat and Arshad in Murree Police station.
