20 kg opium recovered from couple in Faisalabad
The suspects were stopped by a traffic warden near Kachehri Bazar.
FAISALABAD (Web Desk) – A traffic warden has foiled a drug smuggling bid today (Monday) after 20 kilograms of opium was recovered from a couple in Faisalabad.
Reportedly, traffic warden Shahid stopped the accused riding on a motorbike upon suspicion near Kachehri Bazar in Faisalabad.
A sack carrying 20 kilograms of opium was recovered from their possession. Both were immediately handed over to police.
The accused belong to Batti Chowk area of Lahore. They have been shifted to Rail Bazar police station for interrogation.
