Bangladesh had struggled from the outset after Pakistan won the toss and opted to field. The hosts collapsed to 31 for 5 within just eight overs. Player of the Match Bareera Saif made a vital impact in the fifth over, removing two key batters to tighten Pakistan’s grip on the innings. The only notable resistance came from Sadia Akhtar, who compiled 27 runs from 28 balls, while no other Bangladeshi batter reached double figures. Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for 84.
Pakistan’s bowlers delivered disciplined performances across the board. Bareera Saif finished with standout figures of 3 for 16 from four overs, while Rozina Akram added to the pressure with important breakthroughs, taking her tally to eight wickets across the series, which placed her joint third alongside Maimoona Khalid. Aqsa Habib, Maimoona Khalid and Shehr Bano picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Pakistan faced early trouble, losing captain Imaan Naseer and Rahima Syed for just 16 runs. Despite the shaky start, Imaan Naseer ended the series as the top scorer overall with a total of 97 runs, earning her the Player of the Series title.
A stabilising 37-run partnership between Komal Khan and Aqsa Habib rebuilt the innings. Aqsa struck 21 from 23 deliveries before falling, while Komal added a steady 25 from 46 balls to keep Pakistan on course. The finishing touches came from Fizza Fayaz, who hit an unbeaten 18 off 14 balls, including a six and a four, and Areeesha Ansari, who remained not out on 7.

Bangladesh’s bowling attack saw Habiba Islam Pinky, Oitoshi Majumdar and Farzana Yasmin claim one wicket apiece, but the modest total left them with little margin for error.
The victory sealed Pakistan’s come-from-behind success, having been down 2-1 after the first three matches. Consecutive wins, both secured by six-wicket margins, ensured the visitors lifted the series trophy in Dhaka.
