ADELAIDE (Dunya News) - Pakistan speedsters led by Haris Rauf destroyed Australia batting on Friday as the hosts were reeling at 130 losing eight wickets in the second One-day International being played at the Adelaide Oval here.
Haris was the wrecker-in-chief who grabbed four wickets conceding 27 runs in his six overs. Shaheen Afridi captured two wickets while Hasnain and Naseem removed one batsman each.
Steve Smith was the top scorer with 35 runs. Opener Matt Short contibuted 19 runs, Fraser-McGurk 13, Josh Inglis 18, Aaron Hardie 14 and Glenn Maxwell 16.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and decided to put Australia in to bat in the second One-Day International of a three-match series.
Pakistan have kept the playing eleven unchanged while Australia have made one change bringing in Josh Hazlewood.
Australia are leading the series 1-0.
Talking after the toss, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan said they were fielding the same squad that played the first ODI. "We fought very well in MCG but unfotunately lost. There might be moisture in the pitch and we would try to take advantage of that."
Australia captain Pat Cummins said he would have done the same had he won the toss.
He said Sean Abbott was dropped out and Hazlewood was brought back as the pitch here has lots of grass on it and bounce. It's always great to play here.
