BARBADOS (Dunya News) - The triumphant Team India is set to fly back home in the evening through a chartered flight from Barbados.

According to the media reports, the Indian team will take off from Barbados at 6pm and land in New Delhi at 7:45pm on Wednesday.

The development came after a brief pause in the destruction caused by Hurricane Beryl which hit Barbados a couple of days ago, rendering facilities at the airport suspended and taking normal flight operations to a standstill.

Latest media reports suggested that the situation was swiftly coming back to normal as electricity and internet services were restored after the hurricane and flight operations would resume after few hours.

It must be noted that the Indian team was stuck in Barbados after winning the T20 World Cup due to an expected hurricane. To batten down the hatches, aviation authorities had shut down the aiport.
