Ijaz Butt on way out, Afridi to see President tonight

Government has decided not to extend the tenure of PCB chairman Ijaz Butt.

His service is reportedly going to end on October 8 while his lobby is seen alienating him.However, ultimate decision would be taken by the Board’s patron-in-chief President Asif Ali Zardari.Ex-president National Bank Ali Raza and member governing body of Cricket Borad Wazir Ali Khawaja are strong candidates for chairman.Apart from this, the Coach Selection Committee has submitted its proposals.According to sources, Australian ex-captain Dean Johns has been given green signal to be the coach of the National Cricket Team while Aqib Javed would continue to render his services as a bowling coach.Ex-captain Shahid Khan Afridi is likely to meet President Asif Ali Zardari tonight. After this, Afridi may take back his retirement from the International Cricket.
