Says he used to eat Samosas after saving money by not paying fare due to rush in bus

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Babar Azam, the captain of the national cricket team and the holder of countless records, is going to play his 100th ODI match against New Zealand today (Sunday).

The last match of the five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in Karachi today, which will be the 100th one-day match of skipper Babar Azam's career.

In this regard, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared the video of Babar Azam in 2015 when he made his debut in ODI matches while reminiscing the past. The caption of the video reads 'Babar Azam is all set to play his 100th ODI, let's celebrate by watching his first innings 60 in 2015'.

Babar scored a half-century off 54 balls in this match and got out after scoring 54 runs off 60 balls.

 

Meanwhile, Babar Azam said that he used to eat samosas by saving money after not paying the bus fare due to rush.

The captain of the national team, Babar Azam, said that he had no bus fare to go to the academy and he used to go on foot and sometimes he used to eat samosas with the money saved by not paying the fare due to the rush in the bus.

An interview of Babar Azam has been shared on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) YouTube channel, in which Babar Azam can be seen discussing the ups and downs of his cricketing journey.
