Yasir Shah nominated in FIR for allegedly helping in rape of a 14-year-old girl

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Test cricketer Yasir Shah has been nominated in a case registered at a police station in Islamabad for allegedly helping in the rape and harassment of a 14-year-old girl.

According to the FIR, the 14-year-old girl alleged that Farhan, a friend of Yasir Shah raped her at gunpoint, filmed her and harassed her.

The case was lodged by the victim s aunt under rape and other provisions.

According to the text of the FIR filed by the victim s aunt, she went to Lahore with her niece Farah on June 1, 2021 at the invitation of Yasir Shah where his friend Farhan became a friend and on August 14 on her way back from tuitions, Farhan made put her niece in a taxi and took her to a private flat and abused her at gunpoint and made a video.

The complainant further said, "When I approached Yasir on WhatsApp and told him about the incident, he made fun of me and said that he likes underage girls."

According to the text, Farhan threatened to make the video viral if she told anyone and also made Yasir Shah hurl threats. The cricketer threatened her of "dire consequences" if she approached the authorities over the incident.

"Shah also said that he was an international and famous player and threatened her with legal action," the woman said.
