Javed Afridi, Darren Sammy, Hashim Amla meet COAS Gen Bajwa
The COAS congratulated the cricketers on success and growth of Pakistan Super League (PSL)
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former West Indies captain and Peshawar Zalmi’s head coach Darren Sammy, former South African batsmen Hashim Amla on Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.
Peshawar Zalmi CEO Javed Afridi and former Pakistan bowler Muhammad Akram were also present in the meeting.
The COAS appreciated the dignitaries for their contributions for bringing international cricket to Pakistan and being the ambassadors of peace.
He congratulated the cricketers on success and growth of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and expressed hope that it recommences early for much awaited jubilation of entire country.
The visiting dignitaries also shared experience of their visits to different parts of Pakistan and seeing Pakistan as a beautiful and peaceful country.
