Karachi Kings opt to bat first against Quetta Gladiators

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Quetta Gladiators beat Karachi Kings by 5 wickets in the last match of the group stage of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 at the National Stadium Karachi. 

Shane Watson and Khurram Manzoor slammed half-centuries as Quetta Gladiators edged Karachi Kings in the last group stage game of the PSL 2020.

Quetta needed to chase down 151 in 3.2 overs to make it into the top-four, which was an improbable task. Ahmed Shehzad was the first one to depart in the run-chase, flashing at a wide line from Waqas Maqsood, edged through to the keeper. 

However, Karachi Kings have reached the semi-finals of the Pakistan Super League and will face Lahore Qalandars on 17th march.
