Shadab Khan pledges to donate SL series match fees to earthquake victims

Shadab to donate all his match fees received from the SL series for the earthquake-affected victims.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan has pledged to donate all of his match fees from the Sri Lanka series to the victim of earthquake.

Legspinner took to Twitter and expressed to donate all his match fees received from the series for the people affected by the earthquake, “I pledge to donate all my match fees from the #PAKvSL series to the ppl affected by the #earthquake in Pakistan today. Let’s try to help our brothers and sisters in need”.

He further said that it will he honor for him to represent his beloved nation infront the home crowd after a decade, “It will be honour to represent my beloved Pakistan in an ODI for the first time on home soil. First ODI in Pakistan since 2009. Come support the team. I encourage everyone to join the pledge in helping ppl affected by the earthquake. We can all play our part. #PakistanZindabad”

The first ODI match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on September 27 in Karachi.

The 20-year-old cricketer, who took four wickets for Northern against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in Abbottabad on September 14, last played for his country at the World Cup in England in July. 

At least 37 people lost their lives and more than 500 others sustained injuries in an earthquake on Sept. 26 that rattled Azad Kashmir, local officials informed, but they added that rescue work was in full swing and panic was subsiding.
