Shahid Afridi meets PM Imran, discusses Ehsas Program and Panahgahs
Afridi said private sector is desirous of playing a proactive role in the construction of Panagahs.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former cricketer Shahid Afridi on Monday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to Ehsas Program and Panahgahs came under discussion.
Senator Faisal Javed and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Naeem-ul-Haq were also present in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Imran Khan said that the government will fully facilitate and encourage the private sector to become part of public welfare projects.
The prime minister appreciated the interest of public sector in public welfare projects.
On the other hand, Shahid Afridi said the private sector is showing great interest in the public welfare projects.
He said the private sector is desirous of playing a proactive role in the construction of Panagahs.

Later, in his tweet, Shahid Afridi said that he had a wonderful meeting with Imran Khan and he extended his full support for the PM’s shelter homes project for the deserving people. He also requested for a cricket academy for the youth of FATA.
