Next PSL will be held entirely in Pakistan, says PM Imran Khan.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan Monday took to Twitter and announced that the next edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held entirely in Pakistan.

The premier congratulated the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), all the organizers and security forces for holding a successful PSL extravaganza in Pakistan.

Imran Khan also felicitated Quetta Gladiators for winning the PSL 4. He particularly mentioned his friend Sir Vivian Richards over the success of his team.

“Congratulations to PCB, all the organisers & security forces for holding a successful PSL extravaganza in Pakistan. Congratulations to Quetta Gladiators & their manager & my friend Viv Richards on their win. InshaAllah, the next PSL will be held entirely in Pakistan,” the PM wrote.

Let it be known that the PSL 4 was mostly played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but the last eight matches including the final were played in Karachi.

43 foreign players, including former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson and current New Zealand opener Colin Munro, participated in the PSL playoffs in Karachi.

Three PSL matches were hosted by Pakistan last year.
