MELBOURNE (AFP) - Rain forced play to be abandoned late on the fourth day of the fourth Australia-England Ashes Test in Melbourne on Friday.

There was no further play from 3:00 pm (0400 GMT) before the umpires decided to call off the day’s play.

Australia were 103 for two and trailing England by 61 runs with David Warner on 40 and Steve Smith on 25.
