+ Alastair Cook 23 no (41 balls, 4x4), Tom Westley 1 no (12 balls)

+ South Africa-born opener Keaton Jennings, under pressure for his place, caught behind by former Johannesburg school team-mate Quinton de Kock off Duanne Olivier for 17

+ England captain Joe Root wins toss, bats

+ England unchanged from side that won 3rd Test at The Oval by 239 runs to go 2-1 up in four-match series

+ South Africa forced into two changes, with Theunis de Bruyn and Olivier coming in after Vernon Philander and Chris Morris both ruled out with back strains

+ This is the first match at Old Trafford since the Pavilion End was officially renamed the James Anderson End in honour of England s all-time leading Test wicket-taker.
