Peshawar Zalmi Foundation gives Rs60,000 each to 26 cricketers

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) champions Peshawar Zalmi keep on performing off the field as Peshawar Zalmi Foundation handed over Rs60,000 each to the stars of its talent hunt program.
Emergence of Peshawar and KPK Cricket in Pakistan is no more a surprise and Peshawar Zalmi is continuing its mission of ‘Bringing Back Smiles’ and appreciating young emerging cricketers.
The ceremony was held in Peshawar to give away the prize money to 26 best cricketers of Peshawar Zalmi talent hunt. Head coach Muhammad Akram said, "Cricket talent across KPK really impressed me, and in future Peshawar Zalmi will do more talent hunt programs in KPK. This exercise will not only help KPK but also Pakistan Cricket."


In his message, the chairman of Peshawar Zalmi Mr. Javed Afridi stated that Peshawar Zalmi’s mission of ‘Bringing Back Smiles’ will continue to help cricketers of grass root level, and in future they will also try to provide more facilities and coaching programs for the raw talent of KPK cricket. He said, "I am delighted to see these young boys rewarded for their hard work and I hope they inspire others to follow in their footsteps."
Peshawar Zalmi and Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler Junaid Khan, manager Abdul Rehman and former cricketer Arshad Khan were also present on the generous occasion.
