Kohli has maintained that he would never disclose stories of the dressing room

(Web Desk) – Virat Kohli, Indian ODI skipper has deleted his message posted on social media in 2016 to welcome Anil Kumble as the head coach of the cricket team.

The development has come to light after Kumble resigned as the head coach following loss to Pakistan in Champions Trophy 2017 final match.

Kumble stated: “I was informed for the first time yesterday (June 19) by the BCCI that the Captain had reservations with my ‘style’ and about my continuing as the Head Coach.”

On the other hand, Kohli has maintained that he would never disclose stories of the dressing room.

Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan toppled India and brought home the trophy for the first time in its history. Whereas, in India at least 15 Muslims were detained for celebrating Pakistan victory.

A Hindu neighbour in Burhanpur district complained to police and the men were detained for sedition -- which can carry a life sentence -- among other offences, drawing criticism from rights groups.

But Burhanpur police chief Raja Ram Parihar said the sedition charges had been dropped as there was no evidence the men chanted anti-India slogans.

"They did shout slogans in favour of the Pakistan cricket team and lit firecrackers, but that does not warrant sedition charges," Parihar told.
