Umar, Junaid dispute nears conclusion
Both cricketers were involved in exchange of harsh words last month during Pakistan Cup.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The dispute that arose between Umar Akmal and Junaid Khan during the Pakistan Cup is about to reach its conclusion as both players will be spared from any suspension or strict action by just giving them a warning.
Both cricketers were involved in exchange of harsh words last month. Sources have revealed that the committee which is investigating this matter will submit its report in a day or two to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
It has further been disclosed that no punishment will be recommended for Umar Akmal and Junaid Khan, and both of them will be directed to remain cautious in the future.
Let it be known that the report will be prepared by chairman domestic cricket affairs. Umra Akmal and Junaid Khan, both are members of Pakistan’s Champions Trophy squad.
