No hurdle in Salman, Asif's comeback: Shahryar Khan

PCB chief expressed his views while talking to media in the final match of Pakistan Cup.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan has made it clear that there is no hurdle in the comeback of Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif.
PCB chief expressed his views while talking to media in the final match of Pakistan Cup and said both these players can make a comeback by giving good performance at domestic level. He said Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif will be considered for selection if they continue to play well.
Shahryar Khan further said that young players are the future of Pakistan, and selection committee wants to train them so that they could represent the country. PCB chairman praised Sahibzada Farhan, the young batsman from Balochistan, and said he displayed wonderful performance in Pakistan Cup and his future looks very bright.
Shahryar told that PCB is trying to hold more matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the country next year in which a sixth team will also be added. He said that he has already discussed this matter with PCB executive committee chairman Najam Sethi.
Shahryar Khan also made it clear that he does not intend to take any extension as he has already announced to leave his post once his tenure completes in August. He told that he has sent his resignation to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and has decided not to retain the post doesn’t matter his resignation is accepted or rejected.
