Pakistan team returns home tonight, Afridi stays in Dubai
Men in Green were able to post one victory out of the 4 matches they played in the WT20 in India
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani cricket team shall return to the country tonight after being knocked out of the ICC World Twenty20 that is being played in India, reported Dunya News.
Team skipper Shahid Afridi will not be returning with the side as he shall be staying in Dubai for some days. Some players of the team will be landing in Lahore whereas rest will be heading to Karachi, both via Dubai.
Sarfraz Ahmed, Anwar Ali, Mohammad Sami, Khalid Latif and Sharjeel Khan are among the players who shall be landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport whereas Team manager Intikhab Alam, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Irfan, Shoaib Malik and others shall be landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Pakistani team was able to win only one out of the four group stage matches it played in the tournament as the collective performance of the side was utmost disappointing.
